Tree Soaring Adventure Package

The Durango Tree Soaring Adventure Package will not disappoint!  This is the perfect way to combine two of Durango’s most popular attractions the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and ziplining high above Durango’s beautiful mountains. 

Ziplining is a great outdoor activity for kids, families, and adventure seekers looking for a unique Durango adventure. You can add discounted lodging and various other activities to enjoy an unforgettable experience with memories to last a lifetime.

You will start your day with a ride on the Durango & Silverton narrow Gauge Railroad. Once aboard that train, you will enjoy the First Class Tall Timber Legend and Tall Timber Legacy cars where you will check in with a Soaring representative.  Your first class train tickets are included with  the package and your train reservations are made upon booking.  After your train ride through the San Juan Mountain wilderness you will arrive at the Tall Timber stop where your friendly guides will get your ready for your fun day of adventure. 

This all-day zipline adventure will allow guests to soar from platform to platform high in the Ponderosa Pine canopy.  There are 24 ziplines spanning through the alpine mountains, aspen forests and the Animas river.  You will soar between 32 stainless steel platforms by traversing over a mile of helicopter-grade stainless steel cable through 27 Ponderosa pines, allowing time to relax in the trees to enjoy a gourmet lunch. This is a fun and safe zipline adventure for all ages (5 - 91 years old) but does require a minimum of 50lbs and a maximum of 280lbs for your safety. This incredible adventure is truly first-class and an experience like no other.
