Coronavirus Updates: Durango, CO
We are constantly monitoring changes due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). The San Juan Basin Public Health office is constantly monitoring the situation and updating the public. At this time masks are required in all public places and places of business in Durango & the state of Colorado.
As of January 4, La Plata County has moved to "Level Orange: High Risk" restrictions to protect residents and visitors and slow the spread of COVID-19. Level Red: Severe Risk restrictions impact businesses, restaurants, events and social gatherings.

In-Person Dining Updates
As of January 4, Durango is under Level Orange restrictions. Under level orange, restaurants are allowed to open at 25% capacity if they choose. Due to the frequent changes in guidelines and restrictions, please contact restaurants direclty to determine whether or not they will be open for in person dining at the time of your visit.

Mesa Verde National Park
Mesa Verde National Park is currently open to visitors. The Visitor & Research Center and Museum remain closed, but there is an online virtual Rangers Station available to help you on your trip.
