Colorado Marriage License Requirements
Getting married in Colorado is relatively easy, and not expensive in the least! A Colorado Marriage License can be secured with no waiting period, for a fee of $30 (cash, local check, or money order) as long as the bride and groom are at least 18 years old with a legal form of photo ID. Both must be present to sign the document. A blood test is not required in Colorado. The license will be issued immediately at time of signing, and is valid for 30 days thereafter.
If one or both parties have been divorced, the divorce date, place, and court where the divorce was finalized must be shown. A civil action number is required if a change of name was initiated at the time of divorce.
