Durango Wine Experience
The Durango Wine Experience is a 2-day event held in Durango, Colorado, that celebrates wine and benefits local non-profit organizations. The event will include special wine tastings and food pairings from local restaurants and wineries. It's more than just a time to sample and savor; it is the primary annual fundraiser for the Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado.

When is the Wine Experience?
The Durango Wine Experience begins on Saturday, April 27, 2024 with a Walkabout wine tasting downtown. You'll get a taste of some of the best food and a taste of the community as you sip around Main Avenue. Venues include shops, galleries, and more. You can also learn more about community partners and needs as you make your way downtown.
Downtown DurangoThe Durango Wine Experience will continue on through Sunday, April 28, 2024 with The Grand Tasting. This event will feature the best wine, beers, and spirits from Colorado and beyond! Not only will you sip and smile, but you can sample too! Restaurant Showcase partners include local favorites including Farm to Fingers and Ore House.

Event Venue
Downtown is the perfect venue for the Durango Wine Experience. Friday night's Walkabout includes stops on and off Main Avenue in Downtown Durango. Strolling along our picturesque city streets as you sip will delight all the senses. Saturday's Grand Tasting will take place under a great white tent at the historic Smiley Building. While the building is currently home to an eclectic mix of shops, art studios, and other businesses, it was built in 1936 to serve the community as the Smiley Junior High School.
The Community Foundation
As the primary annual fundraiser for the Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado, the Durango Wine Experience sponsors much-needed support across 5 counties: La Plata, San Juan, Montezuma, Archuleta, and Delores.
