After a well-earned lunch break, gear up for a rafting trip down the Lower Animas River. Paddle through exciting Class I-III rapids, including the famous Smelter Whitewater Park, with your seasoned guide at the helm. As the adrenaline rush fades into relaxation, float through gentler sections of the river, surrounded by scenic beauty and unforgettable moments.
For the afternoon rafting trip, please arrive 15 minutes before your trip to 360 South Camino Del Rio Suite #200, Durango CO, 81301 to collect any necessary rental items. Restrooms and changing facilities are available. From here, the driver and rafting guides take your group to our put-in location. Guides will review safety, paddling skills and answer any questions. When your trip is complete, we will return to our location in Durango.
Trip fees include everything you will need for your trip: safety orientation, personal floatation device (please no personal PFDs), transportation to and from the Animas River, complimentary lockers. River shoes, splash jackets and wetsuits are available for rent.
Be sure to lock all of your valuables in your car or one of our complimentary lockers before heading down the river.
