When you join us you will board our open-air vehicle. We will start the tour and head up to the old ghost town of Animas Forks. Animas Forks is an old ghost town located on the Alpine Loop. This once thriving town was built in 1873 and grew to have 30 cabins, a hotel, a saloon, a post office, a local newspaper and a general store. Roughly 450 people occupied Animas Forks in 1883. Many of the buildings still remain. From there, the tour will explore the amazing mountain views and landscape. This is a great trip for the entire family.
Please bring a jacket or fleece as the temperature can drop in the mountains. We reserve the right to take a Jeep Wrangler or SUV as needed.
