Purgatory Lodge is in a central position in the main plaza at Durango's favorite ski resort, providing immediate access to the main high-speed lift. Purgatory Lodge & Village
The most central lodging options at Purgatory Resort are located within Purgatory Village near the main plaza area with all your shopping and dining needs. Buildings with lodging in the village include Eolus (adjacent to Twilight Lift #4), Kendall Mountain, and Purgatory Lodge. All offer ski in/ski out access near the main lifts and have condos to accomodate many different group sizes. Some even include top floor penthouses with private hot tubs and more.
Sheol Street Lodging
Sheol Street runs directly behind Purgatory Village and into its own large roundabout with condo complexes, townhomes, and private cabins, most of which provide direct access to the #6 Needles Lift nearby. The closest of these are the Elkpoint Townhomes and Edelweiss Condos surrounding the community clubhouse. The Twilight View Condos are also easily accessible via the skiway passing beneath Sheol St. The Sitzmark building condos are also located on Sheol St. at the base of the Lower Hades run.
Townhomes, Cabins & Houses
If you want a little more space for a larger group or just the privacy of an entire home to yourself, consider the Alpenglow Townhomes for ski in/ski out access. This group of buildings has many luxury lodging options and is conveniently located near the #7 Graduate Lift, providing access to the primary high speed lift, Purgatory Lodge, and the village plaza. There are many other great options in the Sheol Street roundabout including several private homes and townhomes just a short walk from the ski lifts.
