To make your visit to Purgatory Resort even more magical this holiday season, Ski Beach will be getting a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus just before the big night. Check this year’s dates to add it to your inter adventures like skiing, snow tubing, or even a sleigh ride on the mountain. The kids will adore getting their last minute wishes in with Kris Kringle himself!

Durango Botanic Gardens
On December 1st from 5:30pm-7:00pm guests can enjoy a magical night at the Durango Botanic Gardens. Visitors can look forward to hot chocolate and homemade cookies on the library patio, readings with the Grinch, and of course, appearances from Santa & Mrs. Claus! Bring the kids to the garden and celebrate the holiday season.

The Polar Express Train
Take a trip to the North Pole on the Polar Express Train Ride with Durango & Siverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. This magical interpretation features a steam train journey with hot cocoa, sweet treats and onboard entertainment. On the return trip, Santa will make a special visit to each coach and bestow the first gift of Christmas!

Singing With Santa
Join Santa the day after Thanksgiving, downtown at Buckley Park, for the lighting of the community tree! This annual, family event sponsored by TBK Bank, also includes Christmas caroling and complimentary hot cocoa and cookies. Bring your camera to capture a photo with Santa. Limit two per family.
