Freedom 5K Run, Stroll & Walk at Rotary Park

Kick off your 4th of July celebrations with the Freedom 5K in Durango! This free, family-friendly event takes place along the scenic Animas River Trail and welcomes participants of all ages to run, walk, stroll, or stride their way through the course.

The race begins at 9:00 a.m. at Rotary Park, and participants are encouraged to show their patriotic spirit with festive red, white, and blue attire. Prizes will be awarded to first-place finishers in three age categories: 12 and under, 13–18, and 18 and older. Check-in takes place from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the Freedom 5K race tent.
